EMERGENCY PLANNING

JMG’s Phil Norris has recently qualified as a certified Emergency Planning Officer.

In response to recent changes in legislation (link here to read more), and numerous requests from our clients to provide a service in this market, JMG sent Phil for specialized training to top up his extensive experience in this area.

With the increased demands on building owners from the new legislation it was apparent that a more extensive service offering was required. Training is not available in Tasmania so Phil went to a resident course interstate and he is now one of the few people in Tasmania who is qualified to provide a full service in EMERGENCY PLANNING as required by legislation. Services provided include:-

Preparation of EMERGENCY PLANNING MANUAL
Preparation of Evacuation diagrams
Provision of training of response officers and occupants
Conduct emergency response exercises on site
Authorized record keeping of compliance with Regulation

Success at Engineering Excellence Awards

JMG took out two Highly Commended Awards at the recent Engineers Excellence Awards, for civil engineering works at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) and for the Lower Lake Margaret Pipeline. The lighting developed for the Bellerive Oval was also a finalist at these Awards.

Southern Regional Plan completed
